De La Salle High School have been invitied to participate in the FutureChef competition 2010.

 "FutureChef is a four staged nationwide culinary programme helping young people to learn to cook.  It inspires them to explore cooking as a life skill, helps develop their culinary talent and informs them about entry routes into the hospitality industry."

Over the last 2 weeks Year 9 and 10 pupils have cooked either chicken curry or pizza.  1 boy was chosen from each group as a finalist.

The finalists are:  9-1 Shea Savage

                                9-2 Jamie Graham

                                9-3 Ryan Mulholland

                                P10 - Mark Fullam

                                B10 - Thomas Smyth

                                C10 - Ryan Murray

A very big thanks you to Mr B Sharvin, Mr P Deeny and Mr J McStay for judging each class, they were very difficult decisions to make!

Now only 1 boy can go through to the local heat to cook a 2 course meal on 9th November in the Downpatrick campus of SERC.
